WAIS Open Positions as of October 21, 2021

Bylaws amended to offer manageable service opportunities...

WAIS service positions were streamlined when our bylaws were rewritten in August, 2019.  This was done to ensure that all our service positions are manageable, even by members with busy lives.

According to our Bylaws, officers shall be members with experience, stability and an understanding of the Traditions and how they work, as applied in the Al-Anon Service Manual.  Al-Anon members who are also members of AA may serve as a committee chair or coordinator; they may not serve as an officer.  The following descriptions of duties are summarized from the WAIS Bylaws.

The positions below are all Open Officer Positions with two year terms, although officers may volunteer for a 3rd year.
