Any contact with Al-Anon is confidential and anonymous. 

We believe that most of the information you need is on this website, most importantly where and when you can find a meeting. We strongly encourage you to attend a meeting, it's the best way to avail yourself of the help we can provide. You'll meet others who share your feelings and frustrations, if not your exact circumstances. We come together to find happiness whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not. No two meetings are alike so you may want to try different meetings to find one that's right for you. 

If you'd like to speak with an Al-Anon member, our phone number is (910) 338-9059. The initial response is a recorded message which asks for your name. You may give your first name, a fictional name, or just wait without giving any name at all. If someone is available to speak with you at the time you call, they'll come on the line shortly. If no one is available, we encourage you to leave a message and someone will return the call. When we return your call, we are very aware of confidentiality issues and will not tell someone else who answers the phone that you contacted Al-Anon.
